Live Music with Levy Circus
Join us for an incredible night of live music with Levy Circus.
The Levy Circus is an indie/rock/pop band with strong roots in the East Midlands and close ties to Market Harborough. The group blends Americana, melodic rock, folk, and classic British pop influences, and they’ve built a local following through live performances around Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
They’re centred around songwriter and vocalist Miles Levy — a consultant endocrinologist and professor at Leicester University — alongside guitarist and co-writer Graham Jones, a well-known local music teacher from Market Harborough. Other members include Oscar Muto, Eddie Giacobbe, and neurologist/drummer Ammar Al-Chalabi.
Their origin story is unusually local: Levy reportedly met Graham Jones while picking up his children from school, and the two began jamming together in a classroom before forming the band.
Musically, reviewers compare elements of their sound to artists like:
- Squeeze
- Tom Petty
- Paul Simon
- Van Morrison
- The Beatles
Their songs lean heavily on melody, storytelling, and harmonies rather than modern electronic production.
